How a parking reservation is put together here

Six situations the desk handles, each with the timing rule that actually governs it.

Every reservation below is a space held on a partner lot. VoyBeam checks availability, quotes the daily rate and places the booking. The lot, the shuttle and the gate belong to the operator.

A standard reservation

Dates in, dates out, and a lot type. Most requests are this, and most are answered within the hour during desk hours.

The desk checks which lots have room across the whole window rather than only on your first day. That sounds obvious and is the single commonest failure of self service parking sites: a space that exists on Thursday and not on the following Tuesday is not a reservation, it is a problem waiting at the barrier.

Long stays

From about five days the arithmetic changes and the long stay surface lot usually wins, even with a longer shuttle. From about two weeks it wins decisively.

The desk will say so, including when it means a smaller number on our side. A reservation you regret is worth less than the one you make next time.

Oversized vehicles

A van, a truck with a roof rack, a vehicle with a bike carrier or a small trailer needs a bay sized for it. Standard bays around this airport are marked for cars, and an oversized vehicle across two of them is how people come back to a note under the wiper.

Tell the desk what you actually drive, including the rack. It changes which lot, not just which bay.

Electric cars

There is a block of bays with chargers, on a covered level. Availability there is genuinely thin, so this is the one request worth making a week ahead rather than a day.

If they are full, the honest answer is that they are full. The desk will not hold a normal bay and let you find out at the gate.

Valet drops

You hand the keys over at a booth on the terminal side. Fastest way from car to check in desk by a wide margin, and the dearest per day.

Worth it for a tight departure, an early flight with a full aircraft, or when you simply do not want to think about it. Not worth it for a fortnight in the sun.

Changes in the same week

Flights move. A reservation that needs to start a day earlier or run three days longer is a normal request and usually straightforward with a couple of days of notice.

What is not always possible is extending into a fully booked week, which is why the desk asks you to tell it as soon as a plan slips rather than on the morning.

What we do not do

We do not own or operate any lot, and no lot on this site is ours.
We do not employ attendants, drive shuttles or staff gates.
We hold no operating licence for parking, and no licence number appears anywhere on this site.
We take no payment here. There is no checkout and no card field on any page.
We do not book parking at other airports, and we do not pretend otherwise.
